My Canon Rebel DSLR suddenly just won’t focus. When I press the focus button nothing happens at all. What is going on with my canon camera!?

We know this one because it happened to us!

Check the MF (manual focus) switch on the lens. You want the camera set to auto focus so when you press the focus button it focuses for you. If it is switched to manual focus you would need to focus using the ring on your lens.
